Our Journey

Crew Me Up started in 2019 as a Mobile Tech Platform to help filmmakers connect, hire, and find work. 

We Launched our app in 2020 to a bountiful industry and an exciting possibilities...  

One industry redefining Pandemic followed by the 2023 union strike that brought entertainment almost to a grinding halt and we were forced to look inward and ask what this company does, and how do we survive.

Crew Me Up has always been about Supporting Filmmakers.  In 2024 we began our first official workforce development program where we paired 17 students from various backgrounds with Professional department heads for a hands-on experience.  In 2025 we supported the Frame by Frame Film Summit in NM, Spoke on Industry Panels, and taught independent production workshops to Filmmakers across the US.  

The most common pitfall that our producers saw was a lack of proper prep, planning, and communication within a production.  

Our Goal for 2026 is to change that.  

Crew Me Up is putting technology in the background and bringing Filmmakers to the front.  We are here to support the current generation of filmmakers, and to pave a clear path to success for future ones.
